When you’re working on a project with a budget, the timer watches how much time you have left.

1. 20-minute warning — When you’re down to 20 minutes of budget remaining, you’ll get a pop-up and notification sound. You can keep working or request more time from the client. There’s a button to request more time, but it currently doesn’t do anything for you, so you would still need to manually request time directly from the client or through Corie. In the future, it could potentially send the request directly to clients.
2. Over-budget alert — If you go 2 hours past the budget, the timer automatically pauses and asks you to either stop or request more time. If you dismiss it, it’ll remind you again every 30 minutes.
3. These alerts account for your current session in real time — not just previously saved entries.
